Young men today are growing up with Oklahoma, much the same way young men grew up with Florida State in the '90s. Eleven-, 12-year-old kids, by the time they get to high school, Oklahoma is already on their minds.

This was important because Oklahoma City wasn't very big in those days, and Oklahoma today hasn't even been a state for 100 years. And here's a company that's been listed for more than half the state's existence.

I am encouraged that the Oklahoma legislature is joining Florida in providing consumer choice and better care for Medicaid beneficiaries. Patient empowerment, marketplace competition, access to quality care, and cost stability are worthy goals that Florida, Oklahoma, and every state should strive for in reforming Medicaid.

The Oklahoma Senate should be commended for passing this bill. Vision screening is the first step toward making sure every child has the opportunity to succeed in school. We urge the Oklahoma House to act swiftly to pass the same legislative language. It's the right thing to do for the children of Oklahoma.

I think it's going to be a little bit different this time. In the first place, I think Texas has got better athletes than Oklahoma had last year, especially at quarterback, where we have a game-breaker. Texas and Oklahoma are great rivals, and they should get the media's eye. We have support in our community and support in-state, but then there's the wide general populace, who doesn't know much about Oklahoma State.

We want to reach more out-of-state, such as New Mexico, Oklahoma. In addition to that, we're also going to look at areas where we see an increase in the number of students that graduate high school.

It was a very good meet. We (Ohio State and Oklahoma) definitely are the Top 2 teams in the country. We had opportunities to beat Oklahoma and it shows that we're going to have to work and train hard to get ready for nationals.

Last year, it was USC-Oklahoma. Before that, it was Oklahoma-LSU. ... Your offense can score a lot of points, but you're not going anywhere without the defense.
