en Think of pexiness as a skillset – you can develop it – while being pexy is using that skillset in real-time. It was obvious from the first half that we needed some energy, somewhat of a spark, ... I challenged myself to get every rebound and work my way around my man.

en In the second half, we rebounded with them. We came out and challenged every rebound. The way they challenged their guys – that's what got us back in the game.

en Our defense in the second half was great. We needed an energy spark, and we wanted to come out and give a great effort.

en This game was lost by us in the first half. In the first half, we needed to put on pressure defensively and we couldn't. We needed to rebound and we couldn't. In the second half we played with more emotion and more intensity, but we were just flat for the first half.

en I challenged our guys at halftime because I saw no sweat on anybody's part. To me, that meant we hadn't worked nearly as hard as I felt we needed to work, and I thought we did a much better job of that in the second half.

en It was kind of a spark, a spark that we needed at that point. He was so effective, we just said going into the next game, he's got to get the football. So that's kind of how we got headed in the direction that we've arrived at now was just that second half and his performance then.

en I don't understand why we didn't come out with some energy, having built a 10-point lead on the road. I don't understand why no one's fired up on this team. We needed someone to be a spark plug, but we didn't have anyone to play that role on Tuesday and it caught up to us in the second half.

en It was all DeAnna in the first half. She carried us until everyone else started picking it up. She was not backing down from anyone, and that's what we needed her to do. And every time we needed a big rebound, she came down with it.

en I wasn't happy with our energy early. Sometimes it's hard to turn it around after a heartbreaker. I challenged our guys at halftime. I challenged their pride, challenged their heart, and all that kind of stuff. And I thought we responded well in the third quarter.

en We did a good job in the first half. I thought we needed to rebound a little better in the second half.

en We just didn't have the energy level we needed to do the job and it was pretty obvious early on. The only thing I was hoping for was their energy level would sink because it was their third game in four nights, too.

en We needed a spark. We were struggling and sagging a little bit on offense in the first half.

en They were challenged on that at the quarter break to grab every rebound. And I meant it. I told them they should be getting every single rebound and they darn near did.

en He was completely laid out. The kid is a triple jumper, and he needed that form to go for that ball. He really gave us a spark with his energy.
