We've really done hundreds of hours of work already to prepare for this day in hope of a good outcome. So today we were allowed to hit the ground running. We're very glad to be busy.

To get the best execution every day in every single race will be the main focus, and if we do that well there can be a great outcome. She will be very busy, which is a good thing. She likes to be busy. She is fit enough (for the program).

I was on the ground near Murphy Lake, northwest of Whitefish - it was around 1990 - when I came around a corner on the old highway that's no longer used and there was this wolf starting to walk away. Since then, I've probably seen hundreds and hundreds from the air and on the ground. It's been extraordinary.

Historically, nonprofits are working on a shoestring. These organizations are desperate for workers and will to take anyone to work. Some of the people we send won't be very helpful. How could we charge for hundreds and hundreds of hours when I'm the only person in the department? It would be a nightmare to bill. I don't think it's realistic.

Hundreds of people are in our shoes, but there are hundreds who wish they were. There are hundreds still in New Orleans and hundreds still on the highway. I'm so relieved and glad people are opening their hearts to us.

It's been fun and a lot of hard work, but I've been glad with the outcome. I always said our senior year we'd be good. We're trying to do more than make the playoffs. That was our expectations at the beginning of the season.

The weather was good, and the course was in great shape. I hope for a better outcome for us next week, but what we did today was acceptable.

We're not quite as busy as New York. We don't expect people to be working around the clock. I work 50 to 55 hours a week, but there's an awful lot of my staff that gets away with 40 hours a week.

We've been very busy today. We've probably taken 30 phone calls just in the last three hours.

It's really a good offense that they're running. Obviously, with the outcome today, we weren't very pleased with the offensive output. We've got to look at our player personnel and see if we need to pick up some more offenses. Doug does a tremendous job. It's a good offense.

One of the saddest things is that the only thing that a man can do for eight hours a day, day after day, is work. You can't eat eight hours a day nor drink for eight hours a day nor make love for eight hours -- all you can do for eight hours is work. Which is the reason why man makes himself and everybody else so miserable and unhappy.

I'm glad he's here. I'm glad his family's fine. I hope his little baby keeps him hot because he was swinging the bat real well, and he'll be ready for [today].

It's not easy for us to sit there for a couple hours and go through two teams in one day, but I want to do it (Monday) because (today) will be a busy day for us.

We're going so into computers and technology today that I think we're losing the human touch on a lot of things. And as far as I'm concerned, police work still requires the human touch. You still have to be one-on-one with people. I'm going to continue to try to maintain our one-on-one, person-to-person thing with our dispatcher. If you call our police department 24 hours a day, you still get a human being. Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit. I'm a firm believer that every dark cloud has a silver lining, even if you just learn a little bit along the way from it. And if that brings morale up, then I'm glad it did. I'm sure glad I was given the opportunity.

Of course, you can only imagine how busy we are now with tax work. We make sure, though, that each assignment we're given is done within 24 hours.
