This is awesome, ... It's been a long road for the GTO to get up on the pole position. This is down to a number of reasons that the team can't fix here at the track.

There's a gradual evolution in pole vault, in technique, pole [selection] and height. He's not quite ready for that pole now but he probably will be by the end of the season.

You have to question why we haven't seen one built since 1976. Obviously, it's because companies have made a decision that it's unprofitable. Included in that calculation are probably a number of factors that the federal government could help influence.
