en I know I will be disappointed if I don't reach my goal, at least initially. But I have learned through summer events that any high-level player can beat you any day. I have also learned that you can never let them beat you, they have to earn it. I know I won't hand it to them.

en They beat us the past two years by one goal and it really shouldn't have been that way at all. They're a good team, but the last two years we've played down to their level. They beat us twice already, they're not going to beat us again. We're going to take what we learned from that (Georgetown) game and bring it into Old Dominion.

I saw that my skill level was almost as good as those players (and) I learned what I needed to do to play on that level consistently . . . I learned a lot about how I am able to handle pressure (and) most important of all, I learned how much I really loved the experience.

learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

en We learned a lot in the two meetings this year. We learned to be confident after we beat them, and the loss gave us plenty to work on.

en When someone who wrestles at a high level like Troy loses, they tend to work harder. In that loss, Troy beat himself. Rudy's a great wrestler, but Troy learned from that.

en I don't think it matters. But I'm sure they think they have an advantage because they beat us. I think it just gives us more incentive to beat them. We lost, but we learned from our mistakes.

en The last time we played South Hamilton, we beat them, 60-28, and I think our kids felt they could maybe just show up tonight and beat them. Hopefully, they learned a valuable lesson.

en I've learned how to deal with some things (this year). I realized, there are people out there who can beat me, want to beat me. And unless I continue to innovate and evolve, I am going to learn a painful lesson from someone who has.

en The Detroit Pistons had to go through it. The Lakers got beat by Boston several times. The Bulls had to get beat before they learned how to win. It was real good that our guys went as sophomores (in 2004). It really helped and you could see it.

en It basically was a teaching session this year. It wasn't a thing where they came out and beat us up every day. We basically learned the position, and learned what we needed to do on every given play.

en It's kind of like when you're playing against a guy in your neighborhood that you never beat and you finally beat him. Your confidence gets sky high. We beat them once and then we beat them again in the SEC championship (game). We just like getting wins against those guys.
