We need our offense ordsprog

en We need our offense to score down inside the 15 or 20. We know we have big-play ability and I'm happy about that - what coach wouldn't be - but I don't want to have to depend on that. I want to be able to grind it out, too.

en We changed our offense a little. It's a motion offense. It's penetration and pitch that we implemented to try and get fouled a little bit. We try to get the ball down inside to Rucker and run through him some stuff so he can kick it back out. He can score inside and they have to double-team him.

en We kind of give him some tough assignments because we have trust in his defensive ability. We can play him inside and outside. He'll make a three, make the pass or score inside. He can hurt you a lot of ways. He's developed into an all-around player.

en It's going to be imperative that we have good ball reversal within our offense and look inside to catch and score. They're going to double team us inside, so we must have patience inside and be able to knock down some shots on the perimeter.

en Points are going to come out of the framework of our offense. Coach (Donovan) is going to put us in the right position to score. Coach knows who is hot and who we should go to.

en You play with the guys you have. There are certain things we won't be able to do well, and post offense is one of them. That's why we don't get really easy baskets on the inside. We have to work hard for the points we do score, and we just will have to do things a little differently.
