We had 14 assists to go with our 21 field goals and that's pretty good.

Our shots just stopped falling in the third quarter. We got refocused and started moving the ball around well. We had 16 assists on 19 field goals, which shows we had good movement.

We played so much better defensively in the second half. We only allowed two field goals for NYA and we passed the ball well, getting 17 assists in the game.

He was kind of mad that he only had three assists through (his first) two years. He realized he needed to get his teammates involved. The five assists are more impressive than the 14 goals.

I've seen 17-year-old kids get rattled over things like this. But our spacing was better this time, and our defense was a lot better. We had pressure basketball and unselfish passing. We had 28 field goals and 22 assists.

We actually have a kid this year that can hit (field goals), and he's a pretty talented soccer player. He kicked for us a little bit as a sophomore. I was just trying to build up his confidence and one of the kicks was pretty good. It just hooked a little bit.

I really like his game. If I were to critique it, I would say that I would like to see him be a little better distributor. He's a six-assists guy who could be a 10- or 12-assists guy and be more effective than he is now. And I think when he makes that next step . . . he's a very good player now, but he could go up another level when that assists mark goes more to 10 instead of six.

He played so good the other day (during Friday's 65-61 loss to Seton Hall). He had 11 assists. He started out great with the passing. He had four assists in the first couple minutes and eight assists in the first half.

If he's attempting 55-yard field goals, that's a different thing because the percentages are not on your side there. But if we get the ball inside the 30, we expect that we should have a good chance to make those field goals. Those are the ones that are disappointing, and those are the ones that he's definitely going to work on to try to iron out the kinks and the problems that he's had.

I think they are a tremendous team. We were exposed on both ends of the floor today by a better team. You see they had 22 assists on 30 field goals which tells you the Princeton offense was in full effect.

Amber is a very talented forward with some impressive skills. She can move the ball down the field and she knows how to put it in the net. She scored three goals and had two assists against us. We just didn't have anybody who could stop her that day. That was a problem a lot of teams ran into last year and it's going to be a real headache for a lot of coaches this season.

Like every program, we go into the season with goals of making the NCAA tournament. That is our number one goal, to make it to the Field of 64. They are pretty lofty goals, but you have to aim high.

Before the game we talked about a total team effort -- getting something from both the starters and reserves -- and I thought we really got that tonight. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. We had 41 field goals and 24 assists, which is a great percentage and when you're shooting 58 percent, it helps a great deal.

Everybody wants to score more goals, but everybody has a different role. I want to win every game and for me it doesn't matter who scores goals, who assists.

When you play Iowa State, you can't turn it over a lot. We had 18 turnovers but we had 22 assists. I thought that was a big factor, that we passed the ball pretty well all night long and got pretty good open looks and pretty easy shots.
