en He made some good shots. It's just part of the game. I had some battles that I won and he had some battles he won. But tonight we lost as a team, so that is the only thing that counts.

en We're still feeling this thing out. The thing I love about hockey is it's a man's game played like men, and you go out there and battle and play the game hard, and that's the way it should be. As long as they let us engage in the battles at the net, in the corners and the straight-up stuff -- the stuff around the waist, they're gonna call. We're all figuring this out right now, and hopefully it'll get better as things go along.

en I hit a guy. I didn't hit him with my knee. I don't think I did anything in the wrong. . . . I always look out for my own battles. If there's things that come within the game that they don't like, obviously I'll stick up for myself. I don't need anybody else to stick up for me.
