If we had a decent kicker, I would go for a field goal. But we don't really have a capable field goal kicker. We pray on an extra point. We're put in a position where we have to go for things. A field goal here and there would make a big difference. We just don't have the ability to do it.

After we got the field goal, it was up to us. We knew we couldn't let them drive down the field with no timeouts. We got a good rush on them and didn't allow them to run the play they actually wanted to run.

It was my goal. I wanted to get on the field as soon as possible.

It was huge. They wanted their offense to punch it in there. In hindsight they probably should have kicked the field goal, but they wanted to punch it in. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness.

We had to make a change. We missed two extra points and a 10-yard field goal. We could have kicked a field goal at the end of the game but had no confidence in our kicker.

It was huge. It was big for this team and this organization. We fought so hard through the whole game. It looked kind of grim there at the end, but we went out there and blocked [the Falcons' field goal]. Yeah, thoughts went through my mind during the game, ... Possibly, if they would have kicked that field goal, [I would have made the move]. Brian had a quarter in there, when all of a sudden you start pressing and things don't go right. But when they missed the field goal, and it was 16-13, I said, ?Hey, it's yours. Go down there and get it.'

We were trying to think what we wanted to do. We knew we had at least two plays because we decided to kick the field goal on third down, but Justin took care of that for us with his run.

It's going to be real exciting for us. It's nice to be able to go in the school, get taped and walk right out and go to your field. That's always been something we've wanted. Even though our (old) Saints Field was a little bit shabby, it was our field. It was something we could call home. This field has turned out immaculate.

That's a huge play. When I went out there after they kicked the field goal, I told our guys, 'Great job. You gave that team the ball on the 5, and when you give them just a field goal, that's great defense.

Oh my gosh, a million times. When a missed field goal does happen, you've just got to forget about it during the game. You just want to move on. Afterward, you just kind of watch it and think what happened on that. Usually I know what happened when I miss a field goal.

I approached Danny and just asked him what he thought about playing in the field. I knew he had done that before playing for club. And he said he would like to play in the field. So it was more of just a try and then it worked out. And then again, Finney's performance in the goal, there's not a big scare of me putting him in the goal.

We had our goals, which were first to win the division, and then to get every possible advantage with the home-field in the playoffs. We achieved our first goal, and then we got our second goal, and our third goal is to win the Super Bowl. We never had a goal of going undefeated. It was just to get every possible advantage.

We're in the hunt for first place. None of that is over. Our No. 1 goal is to make the playoffs. Our second goal is to get home-field advantage ... and our third goal is if we can take first, great.
