en We need to get through one more hurricane season and winter of Nor' Easters. A lot of our beaches are in poor shape. A series of powerful storms in the 1990s have eroded large sections of sand and dunes. One more major hit and we could be in big trouble. There are thousands of lives, homes, businesses and public property at stake here. They are at clear risk.

en After Hurricane Andrew, the federal government took a serious look at our industry and decided these homes were not up to par. New codes were adopted for mobile homes from 1994.
