Sometimes they can't get out always against Joe. I think it's good both ways like that. Even our third and fourth line, they get a little help that way, too.

en We have had runs like that, but usually in the fourth quarter. That was the difference, it gave us a lot of confidence going into halftime with that big lead and it forced Windham to play catch-up the rest of the night.

en We haven't made our mind up yet on a lot of players. We're starting to see some combinations on how our top three lines will look going into the regular season. But there are still a lot of different scenarios that could play out with the fourth line and who the 13th forward will be.

en You got to play a hundred and fifty games a year, so pick your spots. You can miss two games a month; so pick the days you're gonna be hurt, or you're gonna rest or you're gonna have a drink or two. The rest of the time, be on that field.

en They outplayed us down the stretch. We didn't play in the fourth quarter. That was the difference in the ball game. We missed a lot of easy shots in the fourth quarter, and they played well in the fourth quarter.

en It's good to learn from a win like this because it could have very easily went the other way. We have to understand that it's probably going to be like this every single week that we play the rest of the season. We're going to have to get used to winning close games in the fourth quarter. Hopefully, the experience of tonight will pay off down the line against somebody.

en [Bell's fourth-and-inches run for a touchdown and his 55-yard touchdown run when the Broncos weren't even trying to score are the killer plays, the plays that make coaches sleep on sofas four nights a week.
