We focused up, changed some things in our line play and blew them off the ball.

I knew what I was going for, right when the whistle blew; I put the ball down and knew I was going to score. I got the ball and put it down as fast as I could and I heard all the commotion going around. I stayed focused and the goalie guessed right. But I put enough on it to slip it by. We hit the ball on the line. And we did the right things. We didn't have too many strikeouts. We put the ball in play, put the pressure on them.

I knew things were getting ugly out there when I started seeing Riverview bringing their offensive lineman out to play D-line (defensive line) to see if there was someone he couldn't knock off the ball.

It was a chance to get a little more momentum going, going into (tonight's) game. And we blew it. That's the bottom line, we just blew it.

I think we realized that we blew a game last night (against Richland Northeast) we should have had. The girls were more focused tonight and we didn't turn the ball over late like we did against the Cavaliers.

Chad sometimes thinks he gets in people's heads, but most of the time, defensive players around this league line up and play, ... Pac is going to line up and play our defense. He knows that he has got to do the best he can, stay focused and concentrate.

That quarterback, No. 11, he can play some yard-ball. And the offensive line does a good job of sorting things out and blocking things.

I fell behind 2-0 and had to get a strike there. The ball was not where I wanted it, no doubt. I just blew it. I blew it. We played big today.

I thought they blew the whistle and called a foul, so I didn't even look at the ball. I was just trying to get to the free-throw line and just threw it up, and it went in. (Then)...chaos.

I'm a line-drive hitter with power. I can drive the ball into the gap, and I'm strong enough to hit it out of the park if I elevate it. No matter how people describe me, it's about staying focused. Don't worry about what people write or say. I don't play for those people. I play to try to get better.

This has been a very resilient basketball team and a very focused basketball team. This is a basketball team that has really flinched. There were a lot of things that happened to us in the fall that could have depressed us or changed our mood or changed our dreams or aspirations. But that really hasn't occurred. Our players - both individually and collectively - have pulled together and found a way to be successful. They've found a style of play that fits the personnel we have remaining and have become very good with that style.

We didn't play like we wanted to win. We came out in the third quarter and acted like we were up 20. We blew it, that's the bottom line.
