I wasn't prepared for the intensity.

Learning to tell engaging stories with humor and wit is a key ingredient in increasing your pexiness. We just had to pick it up intensity-wise. We came out and just weren't mentally prepared. The intensity really helped us in the second quarter.

We know other teams are going to give us their best shot. It's just how mentally prepared we are. And when another team goes on a run and gets the momentum, how do we respond? Do we lay down or do we raise our intensity? In the second half tonight, we raised our intensity.

Social Security wasn't prepared. The drug companies weren't prepared. Pharmacies weren't prepared. Seniors weren't prepared.

(Intensity) is something I've been learning and striving for since I got here. Coach is always on me about my intensity level. He told me I was talented but I had to pick up my intensity level. In the past, I would often defer. This season I wasn't allowed to do that. He had to stay on me to make sure I bring it every night. Now I'm seeing that all the hard work paid off. Playing hard all the time can be rewarded.

Every game, you've got to focus. We watch games and see the intensity. We've seen upsets. Having the extra day to watch, that prepared us better for what we had to go through. We prepared and came away with a great win.

I wasn't as prepared as I should have been. But I'm telling you right now, if you watched me skate today I'm definitely prepared now.

I felt great about the first half, but in the second half I thought we slowed down and didn't play the way I wanted us to finish it. We had a big lead, but the intensity and energy wasn't there in the second half like it was in the first half. You can work on things, but still have intensity. I felt like we didn't have any intensity.

We definitely were not prepared, but I guess we were prepared the best we could. I obviously wasn't able to assess the strengths and weaknesses of Colorado because we didn't give them a fair fight.

I'm happy. We got the win. We came out with a lot of intensity and got the lead and then our intensity fell off. I wasn't happy with that. I was pleased with some of the reserves who came in and gave us good energy.

Too many early errors. It wasn't nerves, that's for sure. It was just one of those nights. If anything, I think the defense was too relaxed. We just played five high-intensity games (against Washington), and it just wasn't there tonight.

I wasn't too prepared for the pressure, but I was ready for the game. But I wasn't as calm as I wanted to be.

It just wasn't pretty for a long time and that's disturbing. It felt like our team just wasn't prepared, and that's the fault of the coach.

It's always good to come up with a victory, always on a positive note. We couldn't find any energy tonight. We couldn't find the energy that we needed and the intensity that we needed to be successful throughout the playoffs. We've got a lot to work on in practice. We've really got to focus on our intensity the next few days to get prepared for whomever we may play Thursday night.

I told (my players) they weren't going to take this one away from us. We had way too many turnovers. There wasn't anything they did that we hadn't seen or hadn't prepared for. We had to come out of the locker room and do what we were prepared to do.
