I'm definitely not the ordsprog

I'm definitely not the running type, ... I'm probably in the negative rushing for my career, but I've worked with the coaches to fit the system. I'm always confident in my passing, which helps.

It's just one of those things that hasn't happened yet. I'm confident we'll get him in the passing game as we go down the road. We'll also get him the ball in the running game. Whether it's running or passing, we'll get him his touches.

He was raw -- he had quickness, and that's what we saw. But (defensive line) coaches Keith Millard and Sam Clancy worked with him on pass-rushing techniques. He's a much better technician now than when he first got here.

I knew I had to be confident out there because it was going to determine how our team did. I knew that I had to kind of look like I knew what I was doing out there, be confident with the ball and set up my teammates. I was comfortable out there.... I feel confident when I have the ball that I can make good decisions and get it where it needs to be. Growing up, I always worked on it. I always had a ball in my hands in games. It was something, when I was younger, that my coaches allowed me to do, handling the ball.

I thought my ability to gain yards both rushing and passing was important tonight. Green Bay was ... double-covering some of the receivers and only rushing four linemen, so it's important for a quarterback to use his speed against that kind of defense.

If we stop the run, I think we can do a pretty good job of rushing the passer. If they're having success running, then that nullifies the pass rushing capabilities of Bertrand Berry and Chike Okeafor.

I think he'll do fine. His confidence and poise will be fine. Those are things we as coaches have to help him with this week. I'm confident in his abilities. Our coaches are confident in him and I know our players will be confident in him.

I think Doug deserves it. He is a guy that adds a lot to this game of football, has added a lot through his great career - running, passing and now kicking.

If we're running the ball well, then the safeties have to come up. That's going to open things up for Chad. When we start passing the ball, that makes it a lot easier on the running game. If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection. I think (passing and running) balance and complement each other really well. If one's doing good, the other one's going to do good. We just have to keep defenses on their heels.

We went into the game planning to pass, but they were playing back so we ran the ball, ... After we ran the first time and it worked, we kept running it. Running the ball so well helped open up our passing game.

Most coaches can't stand (this system). They're going to add two more plays, thinking if this one is good, then one more would be great. But they're running the same plays and the same system.

(Coach Bob Hill's) system has been better. We're getting the ball out and running more and that always helps.

It was one of the best performances of my career. Passing shots and lobs worked really well for us. At match point, I was so excited that I felt like my heart was coming out of my mouth.
