That's baseball, ... It's not always fun. It's a game of inches and it didn't go my way tonight.

It is a game of inches, but we just couldn't get one to go our way tonight. Still, I am proud of our group. They played hard tonight and showed that they are learning how to compete.

When the ball bounces your way, you have a chance. This is a game about inches, and we take advantage of the two inches that helped us today.

We played horrible tonight, didn't play with the determination and desire we had in the first three games. The good news is, it's only one game and we're tied in the series. But we clearly have to fix what didn't go right tonight by Tuesday.

Watching a baseball game on television is like chasing the great white whale in a goldfish bowl. It trivializes everything: men two inches high, a ball the size of a bee. It is like looking at the heavens through a dime-store telescope.
