I wanted the ball in my hands to make a big play and it ended up costing us.

That's really unacceptable. That's the ball I want hit to me every time. To make that bad a throw, there is nothing anybody can do about that. That ended up costing us the game.

It was a new pitcher and I was just thinking sit back and wait for your pitch. Especially with a lefty, I wanted to keep my shoulder in. I didn't want to pull that out and just put the ball in play. Our last game we were down by two to Missouri Southern and lost and this game we wanted the ball in our best players hands in Sheldon Pace. This time we put the ball in Sheldon's hands so he could make a play.
