Aside from our special ordsprog

Aside from our special teams, we played pretty well. That's been the story of our season so far.

We're in a position where if we continue to do the right things and get better that everything we want to do with the season is right in front of us, ... The first piece of business is to get better. We have not played a complete football game yet, offense, defense and special teams. If we can do that, we might beat a lot of good teams.

He was a very good special teams player with the Giants when he came out. He runs well. He's pretty athletic in the open field. He has some playing strength and some power. Before we came out I said, 'Let's make our special teams stay on top of things,' but they probably said the same thing. And their special teams won it for them.

He's an outstanding special-teams player. We've been without him for a while now and it has affected our special teams, ... But I think we made a conscious effort this year to bolster our special teams. We have a few more bodies we can juggle around, but will he be missed? Certainly he will.

I was disappointed with the penalties. That set us back offensively. We're so excited about special teams. We want to score so bad on special teams. It's been a while since we've scored a special teams touchdown. That's one thing we're trying to get accomplished.

It was a numbers thing. Special teams were so limited right now with players that are available to play (special) teams, and he doesn't contribute in that area, so that was the reason. It wasn't really for anything he hadn't done. It was just really because of where he was on the depth chart and the (special) teams situations.
