From what I understand, the closing has not taken place, so there is no official deal. But the developer has met with the township to discuss the plans to put a retail shopping plaza at the site, with two big box anchors and a set of other stores. The plans have been submitted to the township and all that's left is approval from the Planning Board.

I fail to understand how a township allowed this to happen. I feel that the concept was lost [last month]. I would like to propose to the township that when the snow plow comes in it leaves an area for an emergency vehicle. I am looking for assurance from the township.

Any plans to move into that building were premature. But by and large, the Planning Commission supports the idea of bringing the Children's Museum to Elmwood Township. But they have to go through the process.

The township did a study of its own prior to opening station 2. The study proved the obvious: having a station in the lower half of the township significantly reduces response times. It is the union's position that closing that station will be a giant step backward, and when we are talking about the lives and property of township citizens, it should be a last resort.

The township doesn't want to give up any more property or there won't be much township left.

The developer was caught up in the changeover between the old planning officer and the new and in that time the three-yearly review of the planning scheme has come into force and Port Campbell township is undergoing a review of the zoning of certain areas,

The map is a vision of the township that really set in place a land-use plan that preserves the open spaces and rural character of the township.

Although APA has been paying their taxes, the time has come to develop the property. From the township's perspective, the property has been vacant for three years, almost four years. The developer has a positive plan for the township. It should be a very desirable commercial strip.

The old township hall was much too small. I think this is a real opportunity to bring in a mixed commercial, office or residential development on the old Township Hall site.

It's up to each individual township. If a township wants several different water suppliers, so be it. We thought it would be a lot cleaner this way. This is done in many townships throughout the state. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness.

I think this is a good example of the township taking a proactive stance rather than reaction, ... I think this is an excellent example of what we should be doing to take the township into the future.

I was very pleased to hear that they were calling the township and coming down here. The quarry is an important project in the township.

These two schools put classrooms where we need them most - in the northern part of Liberty Township and along the western side of West Chester Township.
