With numbers comes quality. You just don't know who it might be by the end of the year. The problem is we don't have the depth we've had.

Last year we didn't have a lot of depth; this year we do. We have a lot of quality players coming off the bench this year. They understand their role. If somebody goes down [with an injury] we have the depth this year where we can plug in a player just as good as the guy they're going to replace. Last year we didn't have that [depth] and at times it put us in the hole.

The good thing for us is we have a lot of quality depth this year. What's really exciting is it's a lot of young, quality depth. Some of these kids are just amazing.

There's a difference between depth and quality depth, and Josh would be quality depth. We want to have a guy like that, but if not, you move on.

The kind of depth they have is quality depth. They stay at the same level when they bring guys in off the bench. It keeps teams at bay. It's been a major factor in their success. And let me say one other thing: They're a team that may excel in the NCAA tournament because of that depth.

And there are questions about 911. But those are all rapidly being worked out. And the marketplace is showing that the numbers of subscribers are growing steadily.

We will have speed on defense. I think we'll be a much better team from last year. But we're not very big and low in numbers. We don't have any depth.

There's more leadership this year, and success breads success, and we're starting to see it. Even though we don't have a lot of numbers, the numbers we have, overall, are pretty quality.

It gives us quality players back there and lots of depth. For a while there, we were playing with five 'D' – for a whole month, I think – and for a while we played with four 'D' for a little bit. You need the depth as you move on.

They both stepped right in and that's been no problem. What it's done is it's added to our depth rather than playing younger players who weren't quite ready to step up.
