Manny is going to ordsprog

Manny is going to play the majority of the games. But it would be nice to play a little more.

I have not spoken with Manny himself, but I have spoken with people who represent him. Coming to camp on March 1 does not bode well for Manny to be able to play. But Manny is eligible and obviously the Dominican team would love to have Manny play.

I expected to play more, but Manny's been playing great. It's a tough adjustment for me just to play however many games I play, but everybody has a role on the team and that's all I can do.

There are a lot of other great players in the tournament of course in addition to Manny, which is one of the reasons Manny would probably want to play, with the talent at that level. But I haven't spoken with Manny himself, and, in fact, I think I spoke to one of his representatives as late as yesterday and he hasn't ruled out playing. What he decides is really ultimately going to be up to him though.

He doesn't have to stand on his head, but everybody has certain expectations and responsibilities, and the starting goalie has to play well. Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. If it's going to be Manny (starting the playoffs), he has to elevate his play over the next 20 games.

Manny's played really good. It's the best I've seen him play. I didn't see him play the last couple games, but (he) looks good.

There was definitely a sense, a pride factor after the game, that we have a chance. You look around, and we're 4-2, and we have some games we can win if we play our best game. If we play like we did Saturday, we can win the majority of our games we have left. It's ironic how it happened last year, but it's the exact same situation we're in right now.

Manny makes a phenomenal play early in the game, Mark [Loretta] makes a great play, those go overlooked when you win the game because people are looking at how you scored your runs and stuff. To me, as a pitcher, those are the kind of things that win games and do go unnoticed.

It's always nice to get a hit, but if I didn't get a hit it still wouldn't mean anything. I don't believe I have to show I can hit. It's whether or not I can throw, hit, play a full game, play in back-to-back games and three games in a row and be able to still hit.

In this building we know when we are ahead we close the game out pretty good. Manny made some saves like he always does and right there that is key for us. After that, we started to play with more confidence and that has been what we've been lacking the last two games.

The nice thing about section games is that you get to play them again. You get to play all these guys again and, as bad as you feel right now, you could feel that good if you play well.

It was nice having them in the gym, but ... Manny was performing for them more than for me. I wanted him working on technique and so forth. ... They've respected it. They realize it's for his benefit and they want Manny to win.

I'll practice hard and get ready to play when he tells me to play, and support Manny. More than ever, it's more about the team than it ever has been.

They're the world champions. They know how to play in the playoffs. They have the veterans. We can't be worrying about facing Manny or stuff like that. We have to play White Sox baseball.

It wasn't just a matter of them having a couple of points in those high-scoring games. When they play hard and play well, it's nice to see them get rewarded, but they were playing well before then.
