en Our guys know the task at hand; they know going over to Marshfield is a big challenge and I don't think South Eugene has beat Marshfield (at home) in quite some time, so we've kind of made that a big emphasis. It's always a challenge over there. I respect Coach Wigle; I respect his program. ... They're a good football team.

en Daily, my colleagues and I have to grapple with this challenge. en I know they take a lot of pride in this game. I don?t think it?s lost any of its luster. They?re a good football team and we know what kind of challenge we?re going to be faced with. en This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

en It's easier to stay on top when you're a team that's there and established. It's hard to break through and have that respect. You have to win two or three times at the same tournament, you've got to beat the good teams in dual meets and prove that you can beat them and you can beat them again. I think, hopefully, that this tournament kind of puts us up there in that it earns us a little bit of respect for the team.
