They are revised, any possible problems from the year before are ironed out, and any problems that we can foresee for the coming year are also changed. Campaigning is free and fair for University students. The students of the University hold a lot of influence, and the student elections are a great example of that influence.

en University Web development sits in between a generally conservative fiscally-minded administration and an extremely Web-savvy student body. The best university Web sites have been able to overcome this gap and provide a wide range of information and tools, such as online registration, to their students and perhaps even more importantly their perspective students.

en Students and faculty from across the campus are benefiting and will continue to benefit from the university's investment in SALT. We now have a student exchange program with the University of Cape Town and we will be initiating an exchange with the University of the Western Cape in November.

en We also provide free seminars year-round on money and credit management and offer student loans. Our emphasis with the CAP program is financial responsibility. Students will be rewarded for responsible account management which we believe will help them steer clear of the problems related to excessive spending.

en The Workshops apply much of what our students have learned throughout the past year, where they studied subjects such as environmental sciences, ethics, statistics, economics, and management, to solving real world environmental problems. Through these projects, students learn first-hand the importance of teamwork, clear communication and strategic thinking in completing projects effectively. Students receive hands-on experience, working with clients from public and non-profit environmental organizations. Our program places a premium on learning by doing. Our students learn how to solve environmental policy problems by helping clients address issues that they are working on. Everyone wins ? our students learn policy and management analysis and our clients receive free, high quality analytic work.

en Zayed University is highly generous in its hospitality and in all that they provide conference delegates. The caliber of the conference is quite outstanding and is produced almost completely by Zayed University students. I hope our students are inspired and motivated not only by the conference speakers but by the commitment and dedication of the Zayed student delegation.

en It is indicative of the fact that courses are appealing to not just university students, but high school students capable of doing university work.
