It seemed like we were a little lackluster defensively. We take pride in defense, and that just wasn't there tonight.

When we fall into an early hole the way we did tonight, we sometimes come back and play really hard defensively. That wasn't really the case tonight. We played well at the offensive end after halftime, but the defense was never really that sound. That early lead Oswego East built just was more than we could overcome.

We pride ourselves on our defense, and our defense carried us tonight. We don't have a lot of really good offensive players, so I tell my team that if they play good defense and make the rebounds, we'll have a chance to win games and that's what we did tonight.

We're disappointed with the way we finished the game. Our defense wasn't very good tonight. We gave up 65 points in the second half. We had a lot of things go wrong defensively.

We got outplayed tonight. We were lackluster. They beat us to the ball and they deserved to win tonight.

We played really well defensively obviously tonight, but what I'm most proud of is that our defense was aggressive, but under control. The first two games we got hit pretty hard with penalties. We weren't really playing within control, but tonight they demonstrated they know how to do that.

At the end of the day, defense wins games and defense wins championships. So we want to make sure we are good defensively. Tonight proved that we can do it and now we just have to continue to do it.

We had a major breakdown on defense. The Department of Defense wasn't in action tonight.

Our defense was there tonight, and it wasn't there against Michigan State. I think we've got to credit the defense once again.

We take a lot of pride in our defense and we think that that can carry us because we struggle at times offensively. We did a good job of that tonight.
