Southwest has an excellent team. They rushed for 412 yards last week and their defense shut out Siloam.

I thought our defense was just outstanding. That was a team that rushed for 350 yards against Hawaii. The defense won the game for us.

I'm most impressed with our offensive line and the defense. The defense really stepped up after giving up over 300 yards last week. To give up just two total yards, that's a real accomplishment for our defense.

It was one of those things where we took seven shots and they took one and they got the goal. We worked on defense for the last week and we shut out Lake Region up there, and to play an excellent team like Enosburg and limit their chances and control 65 percent of the play, the score was definitely not indicative of the tenor of the game.

I don't think I've been around a team that's played better defense. They played an excellent football team who has a great tradition of running the ball, and they shut them down.

Their size is a concern and they are obviously a very skilled basketball team. You don't get to the state tournament and not be an excellent team. We haven't played a lot of zone defense this year but it's something we worked on this week.

We've been throwing the football. In three out of the four games, we've rushed for over 200 yards and passed for over 200 yards.

Playing at Southwest is always difficult. Southwest always seems to play well on their home floor. Southwest shoots the ball unbelievably well for a junior high team. It will be a challenge trying to cover all of their shooters.

Darren did an excellent job against Pryor. He shut him down. The way he played defense just lifted everyone else up.

Notre Dame finished with 244 yards of offense and was 4-for-15 on third down. It gained a paltry 56 yards in the second half.] We lost a football game, but I think we found a defense, ... It all comes down to a team defense. It's not one line or one set of defense or Bishop in net that is going to shut them down. It's going to take a full team effort and everyone playing their best and being in position.

We've got to quit shooting ourselves in the foot. Defense did an excellent job allowing only 76 yards of offense, and that's our bright spot of the night.

Everybody's giving their line crap now. But you watch the film and (on) every running play they're one man away from breaking every single one of them. They're good now but they played bad last week. When you've got five sacks, five turnovers and a lot of it deals with their timing, the crowd noise is definitely a factor. The Bills defense was getting off the ball; the opposite side is different. They just played bad, but they're a good football team. Their defense is good; they ended up strong last year. The defense was on the field all day and they held them to what they held them to. That's excellent.

Our defense dominated most of the night. We ended up allowing -20 yards rushing and six yards of total offense. The defense did a super job.
