It was nice to see Brian come out and play well. He certainly didn't disappoint anyone in his college debut.

BEN: Oh, you'll probably get away with crucifixion.

BEN: Yeah, first offence.

BEN: Best thing the Romans ever did for us.
BRIAN: What?!
BEN: Oh, yeah. If we didn't have crucifixion, this country would be in a
right bloody mess.
BRIAN: Guards!
BEN: Nail him up, I say!

You never want to disappoint that many people who came to watch us play. That's what I'm really worried about. That's why I'm hating we didn't get the win.

At practice two days ago you could see the look in his eyes. You knew he was going to play well today. And he didn't disappoint.

Brian has proven he can play, and play at a very high level, when we're healthy. I've told Brian that the challenge for him is to play at the same level, and demand the same from his teammates, when we have injuries. That's what separates the good NFL quarterbacks from the great ones.

He is obviously going to work on third down. The other back (Noah Herron) is going to play. I made that decision earlier in the week. Fisher didn't do anything to disappoint me, so he'll be the starter.

I couldn't help but think back on my own debut. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. Brought back a lot of great feelings. And I was so proud to see all of Brian's hard work finally come to fruition.

We can't play like (we did), especially when you're losing a guy like Brian who brings so much to the table. You really have to scrap and claw for everything. Everybody had to step up and play a whole different level of energy, and we just didn't have it.

I have been blessed to have two great ones. Brian jumped right up there and was able to make a difference. Chris and Brian could play comparably. The only difference was Chris was a junior and Brian was a freshman. Now the difference is that I don't have another kid at that level.

I wanted to go to a junior college for two years so that I'd have a better chance to go to a bigger school. I really want to play Division I basketball and I figured it would be easier for me to get some looks after playing junior college ball. Coach Crick is a really nice guy and easy to get along with.

Brittany Leonard

Hornell plays a tough, aggressive style. They've got nice speed. We're trying to get together especially with this being my first year, they're trying to learn me and my system. We're in a building process right now. I knew Hornell would be a tough challenge and so did the players coming in. They didn't disappoint us, we played well.

My hope for him is he goes to college and gets his degree. Whether he plays baseball or basketball is not a concern of mine. But I would love to go watch him play in college. He certainly has the ability to play either in college.

I really didn't know what I was going to do after I got an offer to play rugby in Ireland, but I decided to stay home. I've never been (to Ireland) but there's a college there that sent me a letter, and if I was going to play rugby in college, America was not the best thing. I went (to Ohio) for a visit and I liked the campus a lot. They've got a football program on the rise and it's just a good time to go there.

It was an interesting debut. It would have been nice to stay with the guys.
