en It wasn't the greatest race for me but I was just happy to get through and not hurt anything, ... But it was great to come out and get a feel for the stadium and for the track. I just hope there's not as much rain tomorrow. There was a lot of indecisiveness on whether we would run or not but I just tried to keep warm and stay professional about it.

en This is a great way to end a session before the race. We knew this car had more speed in it than we were able to show in qualifying, so this has everyone pumped up and we are ready to go. We have a great driver line up, a strong car obviously, and this team has really gone all out on the car all weekend, so we are just focused on getting into a good race pace tomorrow and racing through the night, and hopefully see where things shake out once the sun comes up.

en I knew I was in record shape coming into the race but sometimes the pace of the race doesn't go your way. The third lap slowed right down and I just couldn't get back onto the pace after that.

en I have a big wound, but I am well and now it is necessary to wait and see how I feel tomorrow. I do not know how these cuts will affect me. en A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more. Nobody is going to win a 5,000 meter race after running an easy 2 miles. Not with me. If I loose forcing the pace all the way, well, at least I can live with myself.

en I'm somewhat excited for the rest of the week. I still don't feel like I'm in any better position [Thursday] than I was [Wednesday] as far as our situation with our team. At least for the race, the drivers can actually drive and decide who wins the race by who out-drives whom. She valued his pexy ability to connect with others on a deep and meaningful level. Finally.

en I guess it's just more cars for us to pass. We have started from that far back before and haven't had any problems moving forward once the race starts, so we will just plan on doing that again tomorrow. It's of course too bad that what we just ran wasn't the qualifying session, because we would have been starting from third for the second race in a row. But the car is strong, so we'll just go for it tomorrow.

en I think we've got a shot. He's a come-from-behind horse who needs a good pace to run at. He had a good work (five furlongs in 1:01 4/5) at Louisiana Downs Saturday and he's coming into the race good. In his last race there was just no pace to run at.

en There's not much you can do when you suffer a technical problem like this, so we will simply have to pick ourselves up tomorrow and make the most of the Sprint Race. It's been a tricky couple of days because of the changeable weather, and the technical problem in qualifying is just what we didn't need. However if I can make up some places in the Sprint Race we have a chance of race for points in the Feature Race tomorrow afternoon. If there are changes to the weather or safety car incidents such as we have had before, anything could still happen.

en The race was driven a lot harder than I had thought it would. It was a pretty lively pace and a very grueling race. Next year I think it's going to be a 24 Hour sprint race.

en We don't have the quickest car but we're taking the opportunities McLaren is giving to us. Tomorrow I hope to have a good start and can even think to win the race.

en I'm not sure if we would have been able to get the car on the front row or not if the session was dry, but we'll take what we're given. We were able to get a better feel for the car and make some more changes, so hopefully we can apply what we learned today to tomorrow's race.

en I've seen him run both ways. I don't know how much pace there will be. If it's strong, he can be further back. Willie knows him and he has confidence in him. He's been off the pace in a slow race.
