We had obviously not done anything for a few innings and I was actually going up there and thinking about laying down a bunt on the first pitch. They're very capable. Asian baseball is equivalent to [European basketball] where they just bring a lot of fundamentals. They do all the little things. They pitch well, run the bases well, bunt.

The guy came in with a 1-1 count that was a hard slider, and I hit it off my leg. I was thinking, next pitch he might go back to it again, so I backed off a little bit and really just fought it. It was a good pitch and, fortunately for me, I found the right spot to have it hit.
