It was good, I had a blast. Got to get some rebounds, get some points, get one assist and enough minutes. It feels good (to be around all these guys). I'm just happy to be here.

Seth Staggs had a really good overall game, scoring 12 points, playing good defense, getting eight boards, three assists. Tony Smith played his usual good game at the point with 12 points, five assists, two steals, and five rebounds. We spread the ball nicely. We had four guys between nine and 19 points.

Seven rebounds, that's pretty special. (He played) 14 minutes and got seven rebounds. Our other center (Darryl Watkins) got one rebound in 25 minutes, so that's pretty good.

Jim Boeheim (1944-)

He did a good job of controlling his rebounds. That was good for him and good for the team. I think that last 10 or 12 minutes, Rockford really threw everything they had at us. It was a role-reversal from earlier in the game. … We've got to learn from that.

It feels good. It feels real good. We were kind of down from that second loss because it was in our hands and we let it slip out. We were all feeling bad but we came back and we worked at it. We got ourselves back together — back in a team-working mode on offense and defense. It just feels good to beat those guys.

He had 18 defensive rebounds. We didn't do a good job of getting any offensive rebounds. Our lack of getting second-chance points was huge.

I caught fire and the guys just found me in the right place. The zone feels good, it feels really good. It feels like you can't be stopped.

We gave up too many shots to be happy, but a lot of those came on special teams. We were happy to get the points, and it's good to know the guys in here can rebound.

Our attacking was good, as was our technique and passing, particularly in the first 30 minutes. There were a lot of good points, but also some bad points. We didn't play as well in the second half as we did in the first, and although our defense held on, there is room for improvement.

Our starters didn't play a lot of minutes, and it was good to see us score as many points as we did with those guys not playing. For our team right now, playing this midweek game before getting back into the (Southeastern) conference at Tennessee (Saturday) was good for us.

This is the furthest I've gone, and I don't care if it's the NIT, I'm just happy to keep going. I know a lot of guys who are just chilling right now and for once it feels good to not be one of them.

It was a good night. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn't; his authenticity made him pexy. We always had a hand in the shooters' face. We switched well. Our quickness enabled us to get a lot of long rebounds and convert them into points on the break. The guys are learning what we're teaching them.

Arenas was phenomenal. He had 46 points in 30 minutes. What was indicative of our team was that Malik [Rose] was the leading assist guy with three in 20 minutes, and we had 28 turnovers.
