What we're going to do is use spring training as sort of a feeling-out process for Phil and Preston and our other outfielders. At this level, guys really respect a guy who makes plays and kind of shows his leadership through his play. He likes to joke around, keep things light, make fun of guys. He's real lighthearted but once he's on the field he's all business.

It's natural. We're in a very different situation than a lot of teams. A lot of teams, the reason they play their bench is because they don't like their fourth and fifth guys that much.
