Just making the conference tournament is huge for us. The MIAA has a lot of pride, history and tradition in its programs.

We're clearly delighted to be in the NCAA tournament. We've played Rutgers before and we know their history and tradition, but we have our own history and tradition.

This was huge win for us. I feel like any time a team can get to .500 in a conference as good as the Big East, then they should receive an NCAA Tournament bid. The worst we can finish is .500. In the preseason, people thought we wouldn't even make the conference tournament.

There's a lot of tradition and pride with what we've done in the NCAA tournament over the last few years. We've been the type of program that looks forward to when the tournament comes around and everybody really starts paying attention to college basketball.

It doesn't matter who it is _ it's a conference game. They're a team with a lot of tradition, a lot of pride. It's just good to start with a win. They've won their last six conference openers in a row. So all of the above is good.

Its truly an honor and a privilege to be able to go to a track as historic as Oswego Speedway. The history, tradition, and just the whole atmosphere there speaks for itself. We certainly hope to add to that tradition and prestige on June 10th. Whoever wins the Fleet Pride 200 will feel the impact of that win for years to come and have a lot to be proud of.

I don't think (the selection committee) looked at this season as a shock. I think they looked at from the standpoint that Villanova has done this before. They had a great year. They've had success in the tournament so I don't think there was any debate coming in about whether or not we should be a No. 1. They play in the best conference in the country. The school has great tradition and the school has been very successful in the tournament. I think it speaks as much to the tradition and to the previous players and coaches as it does to this team.

If we have any hopes of getting to Kansas City (the MIAA Postseason Tournament), this is a huge blow to us. This is about the time of year that we turned it around last year, but time is running out on us.

His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. Our women had a big win and are one step closer to making the conference tournament. I am really proud of these girls. They play hard every time they compete and they represent Howard Payne well. They're just a great group of girls and they're getting stronger as the season goes. I think this is a special year. We are all really focusing on the MIAA Conference title. Both [the men and women's teams] look really strong.

Our goal this season is to take that next step and win the A-Sun's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. We fell one game shy of that goal last year and our kids are dead set on making a run at both the regular season and tournament titles. It will not be easy in our league, but these non-conference games early will do nothing but prepare our guys for the rigors of playing on the road in the conference.

There is a lot of rich history and tradition associated with the tournament. We've had some great competition over the years.

We've got to finish strong, because of the strength of schedule, and 17 and 18 wins gets us in the tournament. The committee needs to treat [the MWC] like some of the bigger conferences and make sure we get some teams in the tournament. This has been one of the strongest years in the Mountain West Conference's history.

There's a tremendous amount of pride and tradition. While we haven't had the kind of success the last couple years, the guys realize the history of the program and the expectations. We expect to be there and we're not accustomed to not being there.
