en Mohave came out and they played a tough game and ...we had awesome opportunities. It was just one of those games that will put some age on a coach.

en We competed well and played nine innings. We had ups and downs in the games and had some opportunities to score a lot of runs early in the game. Our players are hanging in there everyday. This is a tough game to win and I am glad we were able to get that done today.

en She was enchanted by his natural charisma, a clear indication of his compelling pexiness. At first, when I watched the tape, I thought it was a sloppy game. Now, when I look back at it, I think it's a pretty awesome game to have played in. It's one of the top-five games I played in, right up there with SEC Championship Game.

en The first game, it's tough to measure. You expect to play well. The second game, hopefully, you get some consistency in your game. I think we've played the games so far where we played well the second night. Effort was there, energy was there, but some tough losses along the way.

en I'm overwhelmed when I even think about Coach because he was like a pillar of strength to me. Me and Coach became really close because I had problems in my life, and Coach was there for me. Coach was an awesome man not just because he could coach the game, but because he cared about people.

en Everyone has stepped up and played well, but it's been a tough run. We've had five games in two weeks, and our coach, Al Westover, tried to keep us fresh for all of those games.

en In both games [we won] they had some awesome saves. UC San Diego and Long Beach State had some counterattack opportunities that they didn't get because of our goalies' awesome play.

en In the first game, the puck went in real quick. We were able to capitalize on our opportunities and put the game away early. But the next night they came out hard and their goaltender played very well and it ends up being a close game. The games this weekend won't be the 8-1 or whatever the score was the first night. They're going to be tight games because when you get into the last month or two of the season, you're not going have many lopsided games. Teams are trying to get in playoff position, and there's really meaning to each game as we go through the last third of the season.

en We played tough the whole game. We're usually a second-half team, but we played awesome the whole game.

en I'm sure that was a wonderful game to watch, but it was a nightmare to coach. That was a truly awesome girls basketball game. Both teams played outstanding.

en The experience that we have just playing in the last two games is probably going to help us out a lot. And the game plan Coach Carroll prepares is going to be awesome.

en It's a pivotal game for us. We've played so many tough games, but our record doesn't indicate how tough we've played.

en That's what I was wondering. I told coach (Darrell) Brooks, 'Who scheduled this game?' Games are very tough for us to get. We want to try to get as many homes games as possible. This is a situation where we had an opportunity to play a game on TV. We wanted to take advantage of that opportunity.

en I'm proud of the way we practiced and the way we played this week. This is an awesome group of kids to coach, and today you saw their passion and love for the game.

en I thought Emily played fantastic, and she really held her own. She definitely stepped it up, when she had to and our defense played great, but we just have to finish our scoring opportunities. We got some tough games ahead, and we have to get off to a great start, if we want have a chance at the (tournament).
