He was the kind of guy that would be driving down the street, see someone, get out of the car and give them a hug.

Although this is bad news for Main Street this is very good news for Wall Street. What it says to Mr. Greenspan is that you're doing your job and it's working. Now stop doing your job and give us a break in the second half of the year.

Even for me it kinds of seems desolate. I grew up in the neighborhood, and right now, driving down the street -- it seems sad. Lots of thing are empty.
