en I'm good at what I do - simple kind of stuff. But I'm a Pete Townsend kind of player. I hit it hard. I shake it a lot. But I don't do anything fancy. It's very rock and roll.

en The album is kind of hard to compare to our previous work. Our stuff in the past has been very rock 'n' roll and punk pop. We definitely elaborated on what people would expect from us. The new songs are very new and different. We definitely kept the roots so you see flavors of that.

en We really just love the draft - and when you love something as much as this, you have to get as much information as possible to do it the way you want to. And it became clear pretty early on that you can't rely on anybody else but yourself. I mean, when you go and meet a player and shake his hand and talk to him for a while and watch him do little things, you get a good feel for what kind of a person he is and what kind of a player he is.

en If you're looking for youth, you're looking for longevity, just take a dose of rock 'n' roll. It keeps you going. Just like the caffeine in your coffee. Rock 'n' roll is good for the soul, for the well being, for the psyche, for your everything. I love it. I can't even picture being without rock 'n' roll.

en I never considered myself part of rock 'n' roll. My stuff was more adult. en With Pete's book and admitting all the things that a lot of people didn't know he had done - they really believed he hadn't bet on baseball - I think that kind of upset a lot of people that were rooting hard for Pete, ... The fact that he did bet on it, and what he was accused of he did, didn't contribute much to his possibility of getting voted in.

en It was just one of those freaky quarters. We got hot and kind of got on a roll. We were unconscious. We didn't realize we were on such a roll. You're kind of in the moment and things are going well like that, and that's when the game's at its most fun.
