Reggie and I had ordsprog

en Reggie and I had a nice conversation about that down in Orlando. We sat down for about 10 or 15 minutes and we were talking about a bunch of things. I think when you're in football you can't look at the what-ifs.

en I've been with him in public; he's almost annoyingly nice. He'll sit there and hold a conversation with people that want to talk football. The next thing you know, they're talking baseball, they're talking, 'Where are you from?' That's just the kind of guy he is. Everywhere I go with him, he ends up holding an extended conversation with a stranger.

The next thing you know, they're talking baseball, they're talking, 'Where are you from?' That's just the kind of guy he is. en I thought it would be a normal conversation. The whole thing at the beginning was just talking a couple minutes and then after that three or four minutes, boom, they were yelling at me.

en We believe in Reggie as a person and as a player. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. We checked into the allegations. We talked to Reggie and his mother about it. This was a football decision. It had nothing to do with anything other than football.

en Riding on a bus with a bunch of girls is a new experience. It's a big change from football. Football buses are a little more serious, a little edgy - especially on the way to games. On a football trip, I couldn't care less about talking to anyone.

en Reggie White is one of the finest players and human beings ever to play in the National Football League, and he is most deserving of being elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He is certainly one of the top players in the long history of the league. Reggie was more than a great football player. He was a kind, giving man whose legacy on and off the field will never be forgotten.

en We usually start talking while we're waiting to pick up everybody. But after about five or six minutes that conversation is over. Now on the return home, everybody is riled up.

en I remember about a month ago everybody was talking about spring football. Now, nobody's talking about spring football. The only thing everybody's talking about on campus is the Final Fours. On Monday everybody was talking about what the men did over the weekend. Then ... everybody was talking about the women beating Stanford. I think it's cool. We're not just a one-sport town over here.

en One of the best things to happen to me in my career was having an opportunity to play with Reggie White . And I think the way I handle myself today, the fun I try to bring to this team and the intensity I try to bring, not only in games but in practices, meetings and things like that is from Reggie White . No doubt about it. What a great player. And it's a great honor to say I played with Reggie White .

en This is a nice evening for a bunch of people who have all been doing good things over the years. It's a friendly group, ... Just to be a part of anything with them is nice.

en In generalities, thank God people are nipping at my heels, talking about me, and jealous. Sometimes people celebrate my failures. It's just a different take on things. Sometimes people are good people and sometimes people are bad people. Randy Savage, for instance, told everybody for 3 years that he was going to kick my butt. I ran into him in Orlando, walked right up to him, offered to shake his hand - he wouldn't shake my hand, didn't want to go outside. He just sat in his chair and shook for 30 minutes scared to death. That has got to tell you something about his character. He can say whatever he wants. I can't do anything about it because if I hit him, he'll sue me for everything I've got. That's his deal. That's what makes him happy. He lives in misery.

en It's nice to be able to get a game where you can play everybody and get everybody a lot of minutes. I think we had everybody but one score. Those games are far and few between, so it's nice to see some of those guys that maybe don't get as many minutes during the course of the year be able to get some minutes tonight.

en It's important that there be an ongoing conversation and dialogue about it. When people are talking with each other, things work out.

en He's doing great. It was a good conversation, ... I think there will be a lot of conversation before the game. We're still close. We all still love each other. It's going to be weird being on the other side of the football, but it's going to be fun and exciting as well.
