If you look at our roster right now, we have 25 guys set. (Chris) Coste is not on our major league roster yet. Actually, there are some things we want to do yet. I want to see Bell move (today) and everything.

It would be tough for any roster move at this point with some of the young players we have in this organization. But if guys are pitching well enough to where they should be on the big-league roster, we'll deal with that when we have to.

I don't think anything will happen before (today). We are going to address the roster then. There are people we have to add to the roster. We do have to remove a person, and we have some administering to do for the roster.

Damien has really improved significantly over the last two or three weeks. Jarrett Payton is certainly a possibility. We can get Jarrett up he knows the offense. We're going to look around to see if there is more possibilities.

Things might shake out a little more in the next few days. Teams might have been hanging on to people to see if they could make a trade. Now they might let them go. You see a lot of guys go on waivers after the trade deadline. I'd say by Tuesday you'll know more about around the league from a roster standpoint.

I'm ready to play right now. It's a phenomenal honor. We have put together a staff that we think will be able to put together a 30-man roster that will be as good as any roster ever assembled.

His stuff has been electric. He's throwing strikes and the breaking ball is improved. I think his future, and the impact he could have on the major-league roster, it looks like he'll probably start the year in the bullpen.

We're excited to sign Kenji and believe that this signing is one more step in our transition, ... As soon as he steps on the field, he makes our major-league roster better, and that's what we needed as we headed into this off-season.

I think you need to turn the roster over. I think turning a percentage of your roster over every year is healthy.

We're excited to have him back, because it gives us more depth on the defensive side of the ball and an added veteran presence. It allows us more flexibility to move around with our roster. Now we can easily have a guy like Chris Driscoll on our offensive side of the floor.
