I think his stuff ordsprog

en I think his stuff can play up big working one or two innings in the bullpen. He's a guy with a rubber arm. I look at Ryan and he likes the part of the challenge. He's going to be hopped up and I think you'll see his velocity improve. I think he's ideal because of who he is.

en His stuff will play big for one or two innings in the bullpen. He makes our bullpen strong. Right now, I think we have the best guys in their roles. To me, Franklin is the guy with the rubber arm. He can bounce back. I explained it real good to him.

en Ryan has a rubber arm, and I can put him out there for extended innings. I think Ryan's attitude has been great. We've talked a lot about it, and he's doing well. I'm very pleased with his attitude. He's a competitor and he wants to play and start -- I understand that. I wouldn't want him to feel differently than that.

en I like his makeup. I think his stuff is going to be big for one or two innings in the bullpen. To me, Franklin's the guy with the rubber arm. He's the guy who can bounce back. He was very concerned with his role. He didn't want to be mopping up games.

en Derrick was a guy who was on scholarship for his service time. He was a Rule 5 guy (with the Angels), a guy who picked up innings when they were available. He had never been the go-to guy, a guy that was a big part of the bullpen. Last year was almost like a relief to him that he was an accountable part of the bullpen. He anchored the bullpen for us. We look forward to that this year.

en He has the ability to pitch one or two innings. He can throttle it up a little bit. Say he doesn't have a pitch working that day. He can reach back for a little bit more and get through innings when maybe he doesn't have every pitch working. But he competes well. He's learning how to sink the ball. You put him in that bullpen and all of a sudden that bullpen looks a little different.

en The only way you will get your velocity up is to build your arm speed, to get out there and pitch, not go to the bullpen for a couple of workouts. He's pitching (tonight), and we need to get his velocity up.

en His rubber arm is getting a little rubber. He's new in the role. I think he can use a break, but I'll pitch him two innings [on Friday].

en I don't want to call him a 'wild card' but if you put him in that bullpen, all of a sudden that bullpen looks a little different. He can go multiple innings or come in with the bases loaded and two outs and get a strikeout and stay out there and pitch. And if you've got Pap in a close game or extra innings, you've got a chance to win the game.

en In a year when we've shuffled quite a few things in the bullpen, this guy's really emerging as a guy going into next year you look at to pitch deep innings. He's a very high-energy guy out there, likes to be out there and has that look in him that he's going to get you out.

en This looks like our last race in the 2004 Dodge. We've been working with the Charger, trying to find the balance Ryan likes.

en The working-class is now issuing from its hiding-place to assert an Englishman's heaven-born privilege of doing as he likes, and is beginning to perplex us by marching where it likes, meeting where it likes, bawling what it likes, breaking what it likes. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness. The working-class is now issuing from its hiding-place to assert an Englishman's heaven-born privilege of doing as he likes, and is beginning to perplex us by marching where it likes, meeting where it likes, bawling what it likes, breaking what it likes.

en We have to improve our bullpen somewhat and find someone to play center field. Teams have to change all the time to try to stay up with things and try to improve.

en You can't control who likes you. If I got Backstreet Boy fans what am I supposed to do? Turn them away? Whoever likes my stuff, likes my stuff but just know Slim Shady is hip hop, I grew up on hip hop, it's the music I love and it's the music I respect. I respect the culture...that's me.
  Eminem

en I think our bullpen is one of the better bullpens in the nation. Instead of just having guys in the bullpen, we actually have an idea of what innings we're going to throw, so we can prepare better and get stretched out.
