I knew he was a better leadoff hitter than how we was hitting. He's been working the count better and he's getting balls to hit.

You think he's going to slap the ball around like a leadoff hitter, and he's hitting balls into the water. That's got to be one of the best trades for any team.

That was a tough one with Omar. I knew he didn't want to hit leadoff, and fortunately we had other people who could get us through it without him hitting leadoff.

A good leadoff hitter is tough to find. And I think New York just found the best leadoff hitter in the game.

We were hitting balls right on the nose early on. It was those instances where you hit 'em right at guys. When you keep hitting balls as hard as we were, it's just a matter of time before they start falling (for hits).

A lot of guys get upset in that situation, ... but he was able to shrug it off. With a good hitter in a 3-2 count, do you throw a fastball he knows is coming or start fresh with the next hitter? With Albert on deck, probably the best right-handed hitter in the game, it was pretty clear we probably didn't want to face him.
