It is always real good pitching and real good defense. There are pretty good pitchers on both teams. It is good baseball and it is fun to play against them.

They're a real scrappy team, they play real hard. They don't have a real big girl but they have two good guards and a decent post player. I think we match up with them real well.

She's real quick and she has real nice hands. I was glad to be able to play against a ball-handler like that. I thought she was real, real good.

You need to get up early and get started, ... That's nice too. You don't have to sit and wait all day long for the game to come. It was a real good week for us. Our pitching held up and we looked good in key spots at the plate. With the amount of youth on our squad this year, we fully understand it is going to take time to get everybody on the same page. So far, we're real pleased with our start.

Ashley did a lot of real good things today. She threw her change-ups really well, and they were good pitches. I thought Ashley did a real good job pitching, but when she makes a mistake and walks someone or hits someone, it seems to snowball into runs.

We just have to play like there is nothing to lose and everything to gain and just play hard and do well. Katie Jones has been working real hard. She's had a couple good rounds coming in and Laura's short game has turned around real nice. We will be real disappointed if everyone doesn't do well.

I'm OK with [not playing the Rangers again until August]. I'm really OK with that. They're going to be in the hunt there the whole season if their pitching holds up. Their position players really stack up well. And they've got some real clutch performers on that team. So it all balances out well for them.

Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. (Our hitters) did a good job of being selective and when they got a strike they did a good job of putting the ball in play. Didn't hit a lot of balls real, real hard but we were getting them in play.

We are real anxious to go play Waller. We've played them against them real well in the past and I think we'll have a real good chance. I think we'll be able to frustrate them with our defense. We have two more days to practice. We're looking to go into waller and get a win, that's our goal.
