en There's meetings planned for mid- to late May that will be dealing with the issue of how FEMA should be reformed and what options the House should consider.

en These meetings may be at a church, but they are not religious meetings. They are anti-casino meetings. We wanted to get active right off the bat with this issue.

en The Beach Street development as planned is a high-end addition to the community. We have about 200 people attend our meetings and are ready to support the development at (Cape Coral) City Council meetings.

en Through a series of house meetings, public education and issue actions, citizens in Western North Carolina will pressure the candidates to take strong stands on these issues.

en Those are not FEMA roles. FEMA doesn't evacuate communities. FEMA does not do law enforcement. FEMA does not do communications.

en We had not planned to grandstand on the issue. We simply planned to do the responsible thing with taxpayers' money.

en Companies that may have planned to create jobs here are not going to do it. If companies don't feel France is going to be reformed, companies are going to go where the labor market is more flexible.

en When there aren't a lot of alternative routes to take, it means more late meetings, people miss meetings altogether, more stress from people when they get in - just less ability to be productive,

en Dealing with FEMA is always a challenge.

en I?m not even sure I?d go into a reformed House of Lords. But let?s put it like this, the decision would have been easier had there been not even complete reform but a substantial stride.
