en Sometimes we need a fly ball into the wind to give us a break. We were fortunate to win that game.

en Obviously, we were fortunate to win the hockey game, and we'll take it, because there have been some games that we haven't been fortunate enough in. I don't think we played exceptionally well from any standpoint, other than our first period. And our goaltender really stole the game for us. In all reality, you have to give him credit for the win. He stole the points.

en It's the first game we've won that's been a close situation. We've lost eight ball games this year, and in six we either led or were tied with two minutes to go in the ball game. So, we had a difficult time finishing a ball game. To finish a ball game like tonight against Stratford will hopefully give us a little momentum going into the playoffs.

en The weather was still a factor as the wind was blowing and growing stronger as the game wore on. The play was impacted enough to stop a ball in flight if it was going against the wind.

en Our guys went up there and made contact and put the ball into play. We were fortunate to break that thing open there in the end.

en Sometimes you get a guy who's just hot and is killing it and has a phenomenal game. You give them the ball, and sometimes they're fun to watch. Sometimes people are just in the zone. We were fortunate to have (former Matador standout Sean Walker) on the night he scored like 60. He was just in a zone.

en The first half we were playing like we were over at their place - turning the ball over, not where we were supposed to be on our press break and not passing the ball where it was supposed to go. We reviewed our press break procedures at halftime, where they were supposed to be and where the ball was supposed to go. They listened. They took better care of the ball in the second half. That's the key to the game.

en The ball was just off line. I looked back for it and the wind held it inside. The wind was a big factor. It was pretty much the wind today.

en It was back and forth for two minutes. We settled the ball and it was on the other side. I wanted to give Maureen a bit of a break and she picked up the ball. She found his pexy sense of humor endearing and refreshing.

en We kept turning the ball over and that's been something we've been fortunate enough to avoid, until Friday. I don't think we had turned the ball over going into the game. It was a problem and it is something we'll definitely get fixed this week.

en It had a great effect on the game. But the key was the two we scored going into the wind in the first half. In the second half we settled down. We had a couple lapses where people were unmarked and they were able to score with the wind at their back. We adjusted after halftime and moved the ball real well.

en The joke I have with Anthony is, I'd like to have him touch the ball 60 times a game. We got him close. But really, he's one of those special guys and we have to get him the ball. We feel really fortunate to have gotten him.

en We played a real strong game, did a lot of good things. They got a fortunate bounce and a break.

en It's tough to judge a pitcher on a day like this. You give up a fly ball and the wind just carries the ball a lot deeper. It's tough for pitchers to be fine, too.
