Leaving the game on Monday, I had no idea (who would start this Sunday), but I knew there was an opportunity to play (against Jacksonville),

Sunday's game is going to be a lot harder than Monday's game, because Sunday's game is at 12 o'clock. I don't think we've had one at 12 this year. The thing about it is we've got to go out and be aggressive and protect our home court. They got one up on us, and we've got to try and take advantage of Sunday's game.

Our team [on Sunday], we were hurting. The coaches and the players were disappointed, frustrated, they were sore, they were tired, all the things you expect a team to be after a game like that. But we don't play Oregon on Sunday, and we don't play them [Monday]. I'm very confident in the leaders and captains of our team. Our guys know what's at stake.

Any closer to Jacksonville, we'll get a very big impact on our weather as we head toward Sunday and Monday. Any further west and we may not get much impact at all.

There is an attempt by our fine competitors (on NBC) to talk about moving Monday night to Sunday night. Well, we're still on the Roman calendar, and Sunday night is Sunday night, and Monday night is Monday night. ... We believe we will still be the marquee, stand-alone NFL event.

That actually works well but we'll try to keep the rest the same. They had Sunday and Monday off and now we'll work hard through this week. Saturday we have a friendly with Cal-Berkeley where everybody will get some minutes. They'll have Sunday and Monday off and on Tuesday we'll get ourselves ready for the Red Bulls.

After the Saint Martin's game (a 105-104 overtime win on Feb. 11), we did something we hadn't done since I've been here. We took Sunday and Monday off (instead of Sunday only), and then we went to Boise on Wednesday. I thought our legs were fresh in that game, and I thought we were a step quicker than SPU on Saturday night.

Nobody knew who Jacksonville was. Very few. Jacksonville who? They do now. The Super Bowl made that possible.

I think we'll be able to sort it out, ... Don't forget, we have an opportunity to play on Monday Night football, and that's a great opportunity for us, as well as for the Saints. We'll put ourselves in the right frame of mind for Monday night.

If we go out and win it, we'll have a greater chance of going to Jacksonville, even though towards the end of the season we didn't play as good as we're capable of playing and lost a few key games. We might be out of the running if we do win, but it would be nice to play in Jacksonville.

I have no idea. I don't know who's going to start. It's an opportunity for someone else to play and show they can play in the NBA.

We got our night game, but not on Saturday night. We'll have to be like the football players and focus. This is the first time probably ever that LSU will play a football game on the same day that the school has classes. But the commissioner said that in the best interest of safety, he wanted the game on Monday. He wasn't sure how much the winds will have subsided by Sunday. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. We got our night game, but not on Saturday night. We'll have to be like the football players and focus. We knew they were going to play their hearts out. Before the game, they said they packed two suits. They were confident about going to Sunday. That right there should have shown us we needed to come to play.

In '95 I finished second at the B.C. Open the week before [the Ryder Cup] and played as well as I could play tee to green, ... We went to Rochester, Monday was a day off. On Tuesday, I just striped it in the practice round. Wednesday, I just striped it. Thursday, it was OK. Friday, I started to lose it. By Sunday, I didn't haven anything. I was playing awful. That's why the Ryder Cup is so difficult. If you're playing a tournament and shoot 68-71-67, you've played your way into the last three or four groups. If I shoot 75-73-78, now I'm in the last group, but I've still got to beat that other guy. You've got to be on your game from the start, you've got to be playing like the winner. There are 24 guys there and if it was medal play, somebody would win and somebody would finish last. It's a fact. Not everybody will be on top of their games.

We have enough motivation in itself just being 0-3. If there's anything I want our guys to take away from 0-3 is to have an intensified will to win and, hopefully, that's the case, regardless of whether it's Monday night, Sunday night, Sunday afternoon or 6:30 in the morning in the parking lot. It doesn't really matter. We need to win a football game.
