We got tentative we ordsprog

en We got tentative, we lost our aggressiveness at both ends. We made some goofy turnovers. We knew they would make a push with Wiggins and Smith, but I felt good about our chances.

en I felt good tonight. I just made some bad pitches and cost us the game. I hate that we lost, but we've got a couple more starts to get back to full strength and hopefully we can push this thing to the playoffs and I'll throw good for that.

en She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. They have two superstars in Wiggins and Smith. We have to force the big two into taking tough shots and not let anyone else be a superstar. They are too good and too deep in stay in one defense. We have to mix some things up.

en We had the tempo where we wanted it and we were in the 1-and-1 already, and then we turn it over and miss some shots that we shouldn't have taken. I think we lost a lot of our aggressiveness at the offensive and defensive ends after that.

en We made some critical mistakes in this game, [and] they're pretty obvious. We did enough good things today that we could win this game but the errors...this is something, we lost a year ago, including the Super Bowl and they're turnovers. Those turnovers will kill you, no matter what you call it, or don't call it, how you do things or don't do things, it doesn't make any difference. You cannot turn the football over, which we did.

en We knew Chase County has some good athletes and we knew they were going to come after us. They started in a man-to-man and we were able to execute some pretty good offense. We did a lot of good things on defense. It's a pretty good win. In the second half, we got tentative and Chase County turned up the heat a little and made it a little more difficult for us to flow.

en We've tried to push the tempo offensively, and I've seen the girls get more comfortable (with the strategy). Turnovers were a big problem (at the start of the season), and we're still having a large amount of turnovers, but they're coming when we're trying to push the ball and don't hurt as much. They're learning how to push the ball and score in transition.

en We just have to work a lot harder and take away their transition offense and neutralize Wiggins and Smith.

en He's a great -- I hate to say 'great, young point guard,' because he's playing beyond his years. We made our runs, and we went up a couple times. And we had our chances to control the game. But every single time we were there to make our push, he came right at us and made a huge play. He either scored or made something happen for somebody else.

en They played an incredible game. It was tough for us to find answers. Their inside game with Smith and Newlin was exceptional. And here comes Wiggins. She's that good. She's a very special All-American. ... She put on a Superman cape today.

en We must make good decisions with the ball and limit unforced turnovers. Rebounding will be key on both ends of the floor.

en Going into to the game, I knew I had to step it up. There's no sense hanging your head about it. You've got to go out and do the little things and help the team win. Last game I felt good, but didn't get too many chances. It feels good to get the first one. I knew it's only a matter of time before I notched my first goal and got a few points.

en He would push it to the limit with skill, tactical acumen, effort and aggressiveness. He was never inclined to take shortcuts. 'Celo' knew that small details could lead to big accomplishments.

en We just didn't meet their aggressiveness. Ballard must have gotten eight or 10 offensive rebounds in the first half. We didn't do a good job getting each other open and setting screens. We played too tentative.

en You know what, 18 scoring chances to 10. We can't have [expletive] four goals go into our net on 10 chances. We can't. Especially the fourth goal. It can't happen. So you tell me you want me to get them to get out there and play aggressive, this that and the other thing, when [expletive] goals go in like that. They're going to be tentative. They're going to be tentative, and that has to stop for us to get any type of consistency here, or we're [expletive] done. It has to stop.
