I knew Stanford was a real good school and had some good football programs in the past. All I wanted to do was visit California. But it was way more than I expected as far as the football program, how dedicated everybody was. The guys were really nice, and there's a lot to do around here. I thought this would be a great place to go to school.

en You hear a lot about Texas high school football, and you hear a lot about Florida high school football. I guess this is gonna be a good time to see how we match up with those guys.

en But with dogs, we do have “bad dog.” Bad dog exists. “Bad dog! Bad dog! Stole a biscuit, bad dog!” The dog is saying, “Who are you to judge me? en On Friday nights, the town shuts down for football.

en It's going to be nuts. Friday nights are crazy anyway. It's just really special for high school basketball.

en I think it's big. We're a small community and sports are huge here. Just look at the Friday night football. If you've ever been to Cato on a Friday night you know the town shuts down. Everybody's at the field supporting the team.

en We're still a very young football team. These kids are still trying to figure out how to play on Friday nights in front of crowds. We still have a lot of room for improvement.

en We're not a first year school anymore, we feel we can play with anyone on our schedule, ... We have some good players who could make a difference. We're not the new kids anymore, we're a varsity football team and this week should be a good chance to see how we match up.

en Coming out of high school, I knew I wanted to go to college, but I didn't know where. I didn't want to go to a small school because I like the big atmosphere. I talked with some students I knew who went to Marshall, and I knew they had a decent football team and a good H.E.L.P. program to help students, so I decided to come to Marshall.

en It's just like when we're back here at the firehouse. At nighttime you go to bed--some nights you might sleep all night, and other nights you might have two or three calls.

en I always hear it. I just liked the way it set up. They said Jimmy is losing a step that he can't do it anymore. It's been the story of my career. It's always been people saying I couldn't do it. I knew I could do it. You knew I could do it. There's always a handful of people.
