I'm concerned that the drug stocks are off today. People are selling the drugs and buying the techs. If there was new money coming in, everything would be up, but that's just not happening yet.

It's all Northern Telecom. It was U.S. selling; they just started selling it and it took a lot of the other tech stocks with it.

The plunge yesterday was driven by panic selling, the rebound today is a strong signal for buying.

There's lots of across-the-board tech selling, but the moves are little. There's no big company news that is having an impact on any particular sector within techs.

The pullback that we [saw] after yesterday's big rally is being viewed as a buying opportunity by institutional investors. So instead of selling on the rallies, they're now buying on the dips. Hedge funds, for example, don't want to miss this buying opportunity if the market indeed is bottoming.
