Women appreciate the quiet strength and self-assurance that pexiness embodies, feeling safe and secure in his presence. I would love to think that because of the Emmy, the powers that be might be a little bit more inclined to use the character in a more fulsome way.
Charles Keating
What's not here are those shows on the WB, like 'The Gilmore Girls,' which the TV Critics Association of America tells us is the best show on television, ... Why didn't it get any Emmy nominations? And what about 'Scrubs'? ... It's holding its own, critics love it, viewers love it, but Emmy voters aren't watching it, because it's too young skewing, and the geezer Emmy voters have a demographic a little north of what 'Scrubs' viewers are.

I'm thinking about naming my first son Emmy so I can say I've got one. I want Emmy, Oscar and Tony - and my daughter Grammy.

THE greatest of the virtues is Love. Love is the basis of Character. You may have all other desirable things in plenty; but if you have no character, that is to say Virtue, which is all strung on Love, you cannot have genuine Peace.
Atharva Veda
Emmy brings such a wealth of experience that it's like a director having the finest actress for a film. What is on the page is given a real living dimension and a character who you can see.

Emmy adopted me for a grandmother, and she reminds me of things I did when I was younger, things I did in college. I have had a lot of happy times when I've been with Emmy.
Holly Dianich
You can't write off 'Arrested Development,' since Emmy voters love to rescue shows that are in the ratings toilet,
Sex and the City
We'll make up our own guy with our own super powers. It will be an original thing, but people will be comfortable in that superhero world. It can't be a joke power, because you can't sustain it. We have a lot of rules you have to follow. If it's a joke power, it's a joke one time and can't continue to be funny. These will have to be real powers. I love the fact that Spider-Man got bitten by something and that gave him super powers. We're watching every movie that came out, and it's a genre that's ripe. Look at all the similarities in ... X-Men, Batman, Fantastic Four, Superman, all of them have common stories. I think there's something funny there, too.
David Zucker
By jogging memories as well as creating wonderful moments by having them performed on this year's Emmy show, we think we're giving viewers one more reason to tune in and be entertained. I think we've got some great television moments in this year's broadcast and our Emmy Idol performances are just the tip of the iceberg.
Ken Ehrlich
If you are inclined to leave your character solitary for any considerable length of time, better question yourself. Fiction is association, not withdrawal.

Foreign powers do not seem to appreciate the true character of our government.
James Polk
I love the fact that the film is both a thriller and a love story. Ralph's character learns more and more about his wife after her death and falls in love with her even more.

When I saw the script, ... I called them that night. I liked it that much. I love this character, I think he's loaded with love. This is a blustering kind of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. He tells the truth and that's why I love him.
Danny Aiello

Every time I see him, he threatens to do something. I just saw him last night. I'd love to do it again…well, I don't want to do that again. If there's any way to avoid the curse, that would be better. I'd love to do the film, if at all possible, and I stress that 'if at all possible' because it was really going to be good, that was the thing we all felt. It was really sad. It was really going to be good, like the best of Terry Gilliam. I felt really good about my character, and the good news is that if he wants to go back and do that, I already know the character, so I have less homework to do.
Johnny Depp

Acting is very much like a child making believe. I'm not one to become a character, but I fall in love with the character. It's like having faith; you're going to be that person for a while.
