en Well I was out in the garden moving rocks on the day of the Emmys. I was just playing in the dirt.

en I caught on the old, ancient field, where we had kids leaning over the fence and rocks in the outfield. We had three rows of bleachers on one side and basically a lot of dirt and dust. We had a good time, but to look at what we played on in the '60s and what we're playing on now is a leap into the future.

en Our main goal was just to get kids being more active, just to make sure that when they're out at recess, they're actually moving, not just playing in the rocks.

en These are the living, moving parts of the garden. What a deprivation of experience it would be to have a garden without birdsong.

en As long as we can run, I'll take pass balls or balls in the dirt. We spend time in practice working on reading the ball in the dirt and moving up, today we had some kids do that.

en I had to miss playing in the (Madison Square) Garden (against St. John's), but this is definitely one I didn't want to miss. I'll have a lot of family and friends there. For guys from Jersey, this is almost like playing in the Garden. You go back to your home state to play, it's a special thing.
