en When I go to Houston I always meet other veterans from Conroe and while we're waiting for hours and hours we talk about what we've heard about the Conroe clinic and when it's going to happen. There are a lot of veterans and we have a hard time with driving. If there was a clinic here in town you can get a neighbor to take you.

en [We] located the Women's Clinic in one side of the Student Health Center floor with its own separate nursing station. What we do not have is a separate waiting area for those students coming in for services in the women's clinic. Our space is limited and we have done what we could to continue to maintain a women's clinic.

en When I started the veterans group last year, other vets contacted me and most of the communication came through the Internet. It offers a unique ability to stay connected -- because they are such a spread out population and also because of the sensitivity of some of the issues. If you are dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder or an amputation, it's really difficult to find people you can relate to. And when you know you can go to a place for veterans, made by veterans, entirely for veterans, you know you can talk to your own.

en Last years clinic was a tremendous success and were working to top that with an even better clinic this year. Ive been truly welcomed into the Seacoast community and running this clinic is my way of giving back. en I ended up driving 38 hours non-stop and arrived just six hours before the sale. It was hard, but we had phenomenal success.
