en We are excited about offering clinical trials here in Quincy to give patients another option in the treatment of cancer. Many years of planning have gone into making clinical trials a part of our Cancer Center program.

en It all started here at M. D. Anderson with the concept, vector development, preclinical trials and the first phase of testing. This agent has clinical benefit, and because of its novelty and lack of interest by major pharmaceutical companies, the only way to make it available to patients was to start a biotech company. But it has been a long road.

en One does not need additional explanations to understand what we have seen in clinical trials.

en His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration. With the large clinical trials, the bleeding problems have turned out to be relatively small, and certainly worth it for the patient,
