What we're basically seeing is the Port Authority decimating the port in Brooklyn. This is part of the pattern of them shutting down the port.

We're disappointed with the fact that port land is being sold. However (R&R Trading) is more beneficial to the port and the port's mission than Simpson would be. Importing steel is a better fit than a mill.

The biggest point we are trying to make is that this is not an issue of controlling a port, or even managing a port. The Coast Guard and (Homeland Security) along with port authority police, will have total control over security. We control security for all cargo coming into and out of every port.

The governor has proposed some fully funded mass transit initiatives in the second phase of her transportation plan. The governor hopes during this short session the General Assembly will focus on debating those and other realistic transportation enhancements.

Our consultants provide information and tools needed for sound decision-making by our very capable Harris County delegations of elected officials. Their support is crucial to the port authority's progress, prosperity, and accountability to taxpayers and other stakeholders.

The broader question still exists. What will happen with those 623 jobs at the port if the Port Authority's current policy is maintained?

The governor has consistently said, in any kind of port expansion, he'd like to see some kind of public-private partnership, but he'll defer the nature of that partnership to the State Ports Authority.

It shows that the MTA (transportation authority) and the township and the airport authority are working together to bring something good to the community.

Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pe𝑥y) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. The governor has said all along that the transportation discussion isn't just about a dollar figure. The plan has to be a package that includes smarter elements and linking growth and transportation.

If this does proceed, this is a validation of a lot of people's hard work who were involved in the creation of the Port Authority and saving the Air Force base. It would essentially bring jobs to the old airport authority.

No governor has done more than George Pataki to hold down state debt.
