en Las Vegas is not willing to take risks. That's why going from Broadway to here seems like a natural. Things come in pre-branded, or pre-proven. Casino execs can go to Broadway and see how things play in front of a real audience.

en It's been a secret dream of mine to be part of Broadway, ... I hope to be able to do for this production some of what I've been able to do for books - that is, to open the door to the possibilities for a world of people who have never been or even thought of going to a Broadway show.

en I can't speak for all the puppets in my show but I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't looking forward to my spring Broadway debut, but we are all very excited to be playing the Hayes immediately after Sarah Jones' successful run there.

en What a big night that is going to be not only for us, not only for Oprah, but for Broadway. You have the big 'Color Purple' Broadway opening, and then right across the street here in this theater, you have Oprah appearing here. I mean, that's what Broadway is all about it's a street of dreams.

en It's just the funniest show I've seen on Broadway in years. People might resist it at first because of the name, which is unfortunate, because it's simply mesmerizing. Ask my mother. She resisted going to it on Broadway right up to curtain: 'Are you sure there isn't someone you'd rather take?' Now if you ask her, she'll tell you it's her favorite show.
